I am Professor of Astrophyscs in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Director of the Astronomy Centre and Director of Research and Doctoral Studies for the University of Sussex. My research is in extragalactics astrophysics.You might also be interested in my official University Profile My main research project is is the Herschel Multi-tiered Extragalactic Survey HerMES which I lead with Jamie Bock (Caltech/JPL).

Historical Snapshots

3rd December 2002: Clown at long last retired to lower pages, to be replaced by picture of me and Eddie juggling. I was determined never to have my picture on my WWW page, but you can barely see me anyway.
