Survey of Multi-wavelength Extra-galactic Surveys
Having on many occasions need to obtain details about the
areas, depths and footprints of extra-galactic blank field surveys
I decided to try and collate the available details into a form that
would be generically useful to everyone and (ultimately) in a
form that would be easy to maintain.
Here is a preliminary version. I
Master Database
I am working on providing this an queryable and editable SQL database, in
the meantime it is available for down-load as a flat table.

Code for plotting footprints
There is a gzipped tar file containing a library of
idl routines to plot survey footprints overlayed on fits files. This
comes with an example script (plot_scuba2_fields.pro). This script uses
some fits files which are tarred up in here.

I've used this database and code to produce maps of some fields
Legend: xray--pink; uv--cyan;opt--green; nir--brown; mir--orange; fir--red
submm--magenta (but scuba2 in red/black);

Errors and omissions
I know there are many errors, omissions and inconsistancies. If you find any
can you please let me know. Until I get the SQL database working I'd prefer if
you could make changes in the flat file and return the whole file.
